Star Wars Week

Over the last few weeks I have been lucky enough to attend a few great shows as guest due to being a regular artist on Star Wars the Clone Wars.

The first was the mighty Invasion that took part in Dublin at Citywest.
I had heard rumblings about invasion coming to Cork but unfortunately I missed it as I was living in New York at the time. One thing is for certain, I had no idea just how amazing it would be. As a Star Wars fan myself I was blown away by the spectacular sets and costumes created by the Emerald Garrison. I entered the show knowing nobody and left with a bunch of new friends.
My show highlights were being sat in between Billy Dee Williams and James Arnold Taylor for all four days.
Teaching the kids how to draw Star Wars characters and seeing how excited they were when they were able to draw their favourite characters.
Being schooled in the art of drawing Boba Fett by Jeremy Bulloch himself
Being constanly entertained by Mike Edwards.

Hanging out with all the Emerald Garrison and the Following the Nerd crew after the show.

Rest assured I will be attending more of these great shows soon.

Secondly I was brought over to Germany for a signing tour thanks to the phenominal success of the latest issue of the Clone Wars magazine. Its sales top anything in the US diamond charts by a long long way. There was a constant stream of fans looking for sketches and autographs.

I was completely knackered from the whole weekend but the hospitality from Panini was second to none.
